Alex Buck

Hi! I'm Alex Buck. I grew up in Brentwood, a small town near the New Hampshire seacoast. I earned my B.A. in geography with an emphasis in community and environmental planning from the University of Montana. After my undergrad I joined the navy and was stationed in Norfolk, Virginia at Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron 15 (HM-15) where I served as an aviation electrician. I currently work for Tidewater Planning & Design. We are a small company that provides planning and engineering services to the Department of Defense. My mapping background is limited, but I am really enjoying the New Maps Plus program!

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my wife and two boys (ages 2 and 6 months). We spend a lot of time enjoying nature in some manner of activity. Typically hiking, biking, running, camping, golfing, skiing, or just enjoying nature.
