Mark is a long time resident of Lexington, Kentucky.  He is a graduate of Western Kentucky University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems. Mark’s experience in the information technology sector has included long tenures with Fayette County Public Schools and the Commonwealth of Kentucky.  He has worked as a Business Data Analyst at the University of Kentucky since June 2014.  His research interests include web mapping technologies, spatiotemporal data modeling and analysis, along with socioeconomic and geographic disparities in the United States. Mark earned his graduate certificate in Digital Mapping from UK in May 2017.  A sampling of his data ETL work is available on Github along with his cartographic portfolio.
